Happenings for the long weekend of October 15 - 17 in Amsterdam

This weekend is the beginning of an onslaught of film festivals, which will continue for the next few months. My theory goes that Amsterdam is the capital of film festivals due to the great likelihood that it will rain and so we play it safe by staying inside and letting the screen entertain us for a few hours. Still lots of other things going on, I suggest making your way to Noord and checking out the 'handmade' market at Pekplein on Saturday or enjoy some music.

As always, I appreciate your interest in the hand-picked English agenda for Amsterdam. I am currently looking for someone who knows PHP and MySQL and wants to help me make this site into a database driven one, which will give users a much more friendly, personal way to interact and plan their busy weekends in Amsterdam; so if you know someone interested in a paid side project please have them contact me! busyinamsterdam [at} gmail

Thanks for your visit. If you would like to express your delight with the agenda click on my little ads, as I do this agenda for free, during my free time, every week for you! And I too like to have a few coins in my pocket which help me to network, research, and make a more informed site for you!
